Quality

After all preparations have been made, we will hand brush and roll the surfaces with premium paints. By hand brushing and rolling, we achieve a very thick coat of paint that will last for many years. On the contrary, sprayers apply a very thin coat of paint that can give the presentation of coverage but does not last.

When brushing and rolling, the applicator is always touching the surface being painted. When spraying, the painter moves down the ladder taking the sprayer wand with him.  The wand moves further and further away from the house resulting in inconsistent coverage.  Typically the sprayer will be one to six feet away from the surface.

Most spray companies use what is referred to as a "wet on wet" two coat process. This means they spray in one direction (side to side) for the first coat, and then they immediately spray in the opposite direction (up and down) for the second coat. Don’t be fooled because this is only one trip around the house therefore only one coat.

We can perform minor and major wood repairs. This includes the replacement of windows, doors and siding. We replace damaged pieces with permanent solution materials such as Windsor One Plus trim boards, PVC trim moulding, James Hardie Siding and Dura Frame door jambs.

Honesty and quality go hand in hand which is why Slade will deliver on every promise he makes. This means not painting outside when the temperatures are forecasted to drop below 35 degrees within 48 hours of application. When using latex (water based) paints, it takes a full 48 hrs to dry down to the sub straight, also referred to as your bonding cure. Without a successful bonding cure your paint job will ultimately fail.
